About Grant

As the second generation of AirMart, Grant has been in general aviation his entire life. True to his passion for flying, Grant soloed on his 16th birthday - before getting his driver's license - and has been flying for more than 30 years. He is a commercial, instrument, and multi-engine rated pilot. Understanding what airplanes can be bought and sold for is critical for an inventory dealer. What Grant likes best about working with AirMart is the opportunity to share his true passion with others. Originally from Somerset, Kentucky, Grant lives in Lexington with Kim and their two children. When Grant isn't following aircraft trends or making acquisitions, he is training for his next triathlon or wakeboarding on Lake Cumberland.

About Kim

Kim is working on her master’s degree in organizational psychology, and in her undergraduate years studied English/Communications before beginning her professional career with the Marriott Corporation. After several years in big-box corporate management, Kim started and then sold an advertising and web design company. She also holds a Kentucky real estate license. What Kim likes best about AirMart is listening to the stories each customer has to tell. Originally from Chicago, Kim lives in Lexington with Grant and their two children.

About Adam

Adam made his way around the pattern of every style of flying before landing on the AirMart team. His experience is impressively diverse. As a Commercial Multi-instrument rated pilot, Adam has flown for the airlines and on charter and has even been a skydive pilot. Adam’s favorite part of working with AirMart is linking aircraft buyers and sellers together, connecting everyone to the right plane. When Adam is not taking a customer on a demo flight or following new leads, he enjoys traveling in his personal Mooney, playing golf, and boating.

About Bangaly

Bangaly is a commercially rated pilot who has been flying for a decade. He loves the sky and and has touched down in every state in the US and Canada since joining our team. One thing Bangaly loves most about his job as Sales Executive is talking shop with AirMart’s customers. The people of aviation have stories as unique as the various makes and models they fly and Bangaly loves hearing about them all. In his spare time, Bangaly enjoys tinkering with vehicles (especially his), being outdoors, DIY home renovations, and experiencing other cultures through travel.

About Whitney

Whitney graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Neuropharmacology. She has always believed the sky has no limits and has been a pilot since 2019. She hopes to sit right seat in a Boeing one day and collect life-changing experiences by traveling the globe. Today, Whitney takes great pleasure in sharing her passion for aviation with our customers while continuing to grow as a pilot. When she’s not checking in with potential customers to uncover their aviation needs, Whitney loves flying, exercising, and spending time with her purebred Doberman Pinscher, Draco.

About TATE

Tate has been a pilot since 2013 and holds his commercial single engine land, commercial multi engine land with instruments privileges. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. One of the things Tate likes best in his role as Sales Executive is connecting buyers and sellers all over the country – even internationally – with each other. He enjoys being part of the AirMart team and says there is never a boring day in the office. When he’s not helping buyer and sellers with smooth aircraft transactions, Tate enjoys golfing, snow skiing, water-sports, and rock climbing – anything that gets him outdoors with friend. He is also an ardent University of Kentucky sports fan and can be found tailgating on most football weekends.

About Jack

Jack started flying at Eastern Kentucky University in 2017 where he earned a degree in professional flight and a minor in aerospace management. He obtained his Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-Engine licenses in his four years there. He is hoping to gain more knowledge and experience here at AirMart. As a Sales Associate, Jack is able to spend time talking with our customers about their aviation needs. In his spare time, you can find Jack spending time with his family and friends and his German Shepherd Dexter. He can also be found at the lake, playing sports, working out, or at the dog park.

Cooper Watts Sales Associate Headshot

About Cooper

Cooper joined the AirMart team in 2023 continues to learn and grow as a pilot. He says that the best thing about working for AirMart is that every conversation revolves around aviation. In his spare time, Cooper enjoys studying for his next check-ride and visiting the local city parks.

About Barbette

Barbette has a deep love of aviation and is passionate about her work. She grew up hearing stories of her grandfather’s adventures in his Stinson biplane, and her dad’s stint in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. But her love didn’t end with stories. Her husband, Chuck, served as an Army aviator for 30 years before retiring to the Lexington area with Barbette and their three daughters. When Barb is not overseeing the administrative operations of AirMart like a superhero, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and spoiling her two Corgis, Waffles and Tater.

About Annie

Annie’s love of aviation began as a child when she would fly commercially by herself to visit her grandparents each summer. She remembers the excitement of travelling alone and the kind generosity of the crew who took care of her along the way. One of her favorite experiences was visiting the flight deck of a 747 with all its lights and controls. Annie’s favorite part about working with AirMart is helping customers simplify transactions. She says she knows she’s done something right when a closing customer smiles and says, “You made that look easy.” Annie believes that nothing is better watching a smiling customer fly away in their new plane. In her free time, Annie loves to garden and visit new places, especially if those new places have beaches. She is a movie buff, Nintendo geek, and has been known to dominate in karaoke.
