President
As the second generation of AirMart, Grant has been in general aviation his entire life. True to his passion for flying, Grant soloed on his 16th birthday – before getting his driver’s license – and has been flying for more than 30 years. He is a commercial, instrument, and multi-engine rated pilot. Understanding what airplanes can be bought and sold for is critical for an inventory dealer. What Grant likes best about working with AirMart is the opportunity to share his true passion with others. Originally from Somerset, Kentucky, Grant lives in Lexington with Kim and their two children. When Grant isn’t following aircraft trends or making acquisitions, he is training for his next triathlon or wakeboarding on Lake Cumberland.
Vice President of Sales
Tate Preece is a Kentucky native who developed a passion for aviation early in life. He earned his Private Pilot License in high school and later attended the University of Kentucky, where he studied Finance and Business Management. Today, Tate holds Commercial Pilot Certificates for both Single-Engine Land and Multi-Engine Land aircraft, each with Instrument privileges.
Before joining AirMart in 2019, Tate built professional experience across a range of industries, including heavy equipment, commercial property and casualty insurance, and real estate. Since joining AirMart, he has been instrumental in executing transactions exceeding $100,000,000 in total value and has experience flying over 35 different aircraft types.
Outside of the office, Tate enjoys a variety of hobbies, including flying his personal plane on trips, following University of Kentucky athletics, golfing, snow skiing, and boating.
Marketing Specialist
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Kendall is a University of Kentucky alumna with 8 years of experience in digital marketing. Her background spans marketing, web design, branding, and social media strategy—skills she uses daily to strengthen the AlphaJets brand and engage its audience in creative, meaningful ways.
