My wife and I worked with AirMart to get our first plane so she can continue her pilot training. Tate, Jeff, Annie and the entire team were very friendly and helpful. It took us a few attempts to get the plane we wanted and they kept supporting us. When we visited to take a look at the plane they were great hosts, including picking us up from the gate, showing us the plane, taking my wife out on a test flight (with one of their CFIs since she hasn’t completed the license yet). All in all this was an extremely pleasant experience. Buying your first airplane is a big deal, at least to us, and we felt in good hands! Thanks to the AirMart team :) Hope to see you all at Oshkosh next year!

I just bought a C301R from Airmart. Whitney Wooldridge, the Airmart Rep for this plane, was fantastic. There were 3 partial owners of the plane and they all had a different stance which made negotiations difficult. If not for Whitney’s efforts this sale would not have been completed. During the sales process an Airmart mechanic found a fuel leak, (not found by my inspection group), which they fixed at no charge to me. Airmart has several full time mechanics that makes the entire sales process much smoother. Whitney also made the extra effort to meet me on a Saturday outside their normal business hours, which was the only time I could pick up the plane. She had a mechanic standing by which we had to consult or we would had been unable to leave the airport. I definitely recommend this group selling or buying an aircraft.

Sav was honest in his representation of the aircraft and believed that the quality of the aircraft spoke for itself. This has proven to be the case after 80 hours of flight time, no major issues have arisen and the engine oil analysis if fantastic. Highly recommend.

We visited the AirMart operation, a great place to see multiple airplanes and models. Purchasing an airplane is a major investment, so it’s wonderful to be able to touch and sit in almost all of them before making a decision. Sav sold our old plane for us, and although there were some issues, he did his follow-up and guided us through the sale of our aircraft. I heard good things about Airmart but it didn’t go well. I had to chase them down multiple times just for them to get back to me and felt like I was getting tossed around. I still had questions Whitney couldn’t help me and had a horrible attitude. I ran into several issues where Grant constantly gave me inaccurate info. Disappointed

Terrible experience with AirMart. We were looking to purchase a plane and the deal fell through, as terms were not agreed upon. After paying a $10,000 refundable deposit, we were told we’d get our money back. Around 3/15/2024, we backed out of the deal and still have yet to receive our money back. They have all kinds of excuses and reasons why we haven’t received it yet: they sent it to the wrong person, they are waiting on the check to cancel, etc. Here it is now almost THREE months later and we still have yet to receive a dime. Grant even emailed me last week, saying if the check still wasn’t there in our mailbox on June 6, 2024, he would wire it out the next day. No wire the next day and he also has not responded to any emails since then.

My concern posting this review is that the reader may think I am related to the staff in some way and not take it as a credible source. The truth is that Sav and his team at AirMart are simply that good. They are the Ritz Carlton of the trade. Sav went so far and above on the purchase of my new to me Baron 58TC and the sale of my Baron 55 that I just can’t put it into words. In addition, the process by which they escrow and register for you the new aircraft is amazing. They charge next to nothing for a service that eliminates the need to deal with the FAA for the reg. I would rather floss with barbed wire that deal with that!! Anyway, the whole process from start to finish was just classy…top notch…over the top great. Thank you Sav and your team.

I would never list my plane with these guys. Cooper was horrible, asleep most of the time. Made a 7% lower offer and got nothing from him then a few days later “it sold at full price” still shows for sale and hasn’t responded since. Look elsewhere.

I don’t even know where to begin…Overwhelmed was the best word to describe our self-guided several month long search for our families aircraft. Then, I was told to contact Sav at AirMart and this was the best advice could have been given. After talking with Sav about a Piper Dakota that they were representing we made the drive down to Lexington to look at the airplane. Three weeks later we were closing on said aircraft. AirMart makes the process of acquiring an aircraft anything but Overwhelming. We love our plane, and we look forward to being AirMart customers again. Awesome experience! I have bought and sold 10 aircraft and 1 glider over the years and without exception, AirMart was the best! I responded to a mailing asking if I wanted to sell my plane. I went online and responded. Within a short time, Grant Sutherlin, the President of AirMart contacted me personally. After providing him with some details and a few pictures he made me an offer that was fair and I accepted. In less then 10 days we closed and the funds were in my account. NO SURRISES!!! This is a quality operation and when I brought my plane to them I was impressed by everyone I came into contact with. A young man took me to the terminal to catch my flight and in talking with him I could tell Airmart is an exciting place to work. Grant and Airmart have my highest possible recommendation if you are buying or selling an airplane and I won’t hesitate to use them in the future.

I was not sure what to expect buying my first Aircraft. I have heard horror stories of horrible experiences on reddit and other online forums. Airmart, and Tate in particular, took all of the confusion out of the process and were always timely to answer any questions I had about the aircraft and the purchase process. They took care of the maintenance items that even the pre-buy inspection did not mention. Airmart cares for their customers and I was treated like a VIP customer buying a business jet, but I was there only for a Cessna 182!! I personally reached out to Airmarts owner regarding his listings multiple times. Not once, did he take the time to reply to any of my inquiries. Finally, his assistant replied to an email ten days after my 1st email to was sent. Never answered any of my questions from my previous attempts but pressed me to see if I would be interested in listing my DA42 which I happened to mention in my 5th email attempt.

Had a verbal agreement on the DA40. I was in constant communication with the sales team coordinating all the details. Signed the lease on the hangar, started financing. After signing the contract, next morning the sales person advised me that unfortunately there is another buyer and he had already signed the contract on the aircraft prior to me. I was told that there are several sales people operating independently. My guess is that they received a better offer while we were in the process, or something else happened that these guys are not disclosing. In any way I would stay away from them. Business ethics are questionable, I wonder what other shortcuts these guys take.

Excellent experience with Airmart. First airplane purchase – Adam and Annie made the process very easy. Purchased sight unseen other than pictures and was very satisfied on arrival. Would definitely buy from Airmart again.
